About Us
“I Am” World Outreach, Inc. is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization formed in 2004 by Roy Wanta. After seeing firsthand the dire need for help across the world and the desire to show God’s love in those areas, he decided to try to do something, even in a small way before it was to late. Roy's heart was changed forever after he visited Nigeria with Bishop Ben Egbujor (www.jubileechristiancentre.org). Young children, as young as 3 or 4 years old wandering the streets with no one to care for them. Babies left along side of the road to die. Young girls forced into prostitution in order to survive or provide for other members of their family. People bathing in polluted sewer systems and so much more. A group of people in desperate need of love and help.
Roy decided that he had to do something, anything to make a difference in the lives of orphans and other individuals in need and to show them the love and hope in Jesus Christ. So he founded “I Am” World Outreach, Inc. and is partnering with Jubilee Christian Centre in London, England to help reach a people in need in Africa.
Some of the ways we are reaching out is:
- Helping provide for and bring hope to children at the Manna Children’s Homes in Nigeria.
- Provide a safe home for girls and train them in a vocation once they are of age to leave the orphanage so they do not end up on the streets as prostitutes.
- Help widows by finding them jobs or training them in a vocation so they no longer rely on handouts or resort to prostitution to provide for their children.
- Provide clean water.
- Provide and help maintain a free clinic in the area. A clinic in need of medical staff, medicine and other supplies.
- Purchase farm land to provide jobs to people in the area.
We are in need of your help. Please do what you can to help this beautiful group of people in need. Any donation amount is welcome. Donate Now
Matthew 25:35-40
“For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. The just and uprights will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My brethen, you did it for Me.”
