About Us
Dear Friends –
“I AM” World Mission Outreach, Incorporated is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization formed in 2004 by Roy Wanta. After visiting Nigeria with Bishop Ben Egbujor, Roy’s heart was changed forever. Children, as young as 3 or 4 years old, wander the streets with no one to care for them. Babies are left along side of the road to die. Young girls forced into prostitution in order to survive or provide for other members of their family. People bath in polluted sewer systems. There are so many more examples showing how people are in desperate need of love and help.
After seeing firsthand the dire need for help across the world and the desire to show God’s love in those areas, Roy decided to try to do something, anything to make a difference in the lives of orphans and other individuals in need and to show them the love and hope in Jesus Christ.
Some of the ways we are reaching out is:
- Help provide for and bring hope to children at the Manna Children’s Home and Education Center in Nigeria. Currently, the home shelters more than 45 orphans and helps more than 300 children daily. An attached clinic provides free basic medical care for the orphans in the Children’s home as well as the surrounding community.
- Build a safe home for girls. To keep young girls off the streets, away from prostitution, and help them acquire skills that will lead to productive lives. Learning skills such as dressmaking would allow for a source of income. Currently, the girl’s home is under construction and in need of finishing.
- Help widows by finding them jobs or training them in a vocation so they no longer rely on handouts or resort to prostitution to provide for their children.
- Digging of wells. The people of Africa face a daily struggle to obtain clean drinking water. Some women walk hours a day just to obtain dirty water that is contaminated with disease and dirt. The typical family income of the villagers is so desperately minimal that they have neither the ability to correct the situation themselves nor to move to another area. We would like to help this situation by continuing to dig wells and provide clean water for some targeted communities in Africa.
- Land for farms. Through private-donations, land has been purchased to plant pineapples and raise hogs in an effort to help the orphanage sustain itself. We are exploring new methods of horticulture and animal husbandry, creating opportunity, food and financial assistance.
This spring, we will also be exploring the needs in Romania. If God leads, an orphanage in Iasi will be added to our list of projects.
To ensure people in need are helped to the fullest extent, none of the donations are used for personal gain by those working for “I AM”. Time, travel, and similar expenses are covered by those doing the work. Unlike many other organizations, this means 100 percent of the donated funds are used as intended by the donors – to help those in need.
We hope you will consider supporting the work of “I AM” World Mission Outreach with your prayers and donations. Donate Now

Matthew 25:35-40
“For I was hungry and you gave Me food, I was thirsty and you gave Me something to drink, I was a stranger and you brought Me together with yourselves and welcomed and entertained and lodged Me, I was naked and you clothed Me, I was sick and you visited Me with help and ministering care, I was in prison and you came to see Me. The just and uprights will answer Him, Lord, when did we see You hungry and gave You food, or thirsty and gave You something to drink? And when did we see You sick or in prison and came to visit You? And the King will reply to them, Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My brethen, you did it for Me.”
