…bringing hope to children of Africa!!!

“I Am” World Outreach, Inc. is a non-profit organization started by Roy Wanta in 2007, built on the simple philosophy of ‘one person can make a difference’.  It is run by a group of dedicated people who were so moved by the stories of widows and children fighting to survive in Nigeria, they decided to take it upon themselves to help them with whatever they could and to bring the gospel to those who remain spiritually depleted. 2011 in Nigeria “I Am” World Mission Outreach Nigeria Inc. was formed as a non-profit organization with its headquarters in Onitsha, Anambra State, Nigeria in corroboration with  “I Am” World Outreach in Wisconsin, USA.  Rev. John Ani is the project director in Nigeria. Through a network of prayer and financial support, our goal is to continue support for the work of “I Am”, to promote the gospel in Nigeria and in making disciples (training pastors, counselors and leaders), thus fulfilling the Great Commission In Matt. 29:19-20 thru Rev. John Ani.  We also support the Christian school with approximately 200 hundred children in attendance, medical care to those suffering from malnutrition and other diseases, well drilling for fresh water, and training people a skill so they can provide for themselves and family  with an income.  There is no corporate agenda, only compassion and desire to help the people we have met while visiting Nigeria, and we now call them friends.

“I Am” World Outreach, Inc. was started to assist an orphanage in Atta, Nigeria in 2007, and with building the Girls’ Safe Home. A safe place for girls as young as 9 years old who have been or would otherwise be forced into prostitution to survive.  The Girls’ Safe Home will keep these girls off the streets and teach them skills to survive, while preventing the continued cycle of HIV/AIDS and unwanted pregnancies resulting in additional orphans.

In addition there are also more wells that need to be drilled to provide clean drinking water.  One that “I Am” is focusing on is for the “I Am” Education Center in Onitsha, Nigeria.  These are some of the basic survival items that “I Am” World Outreach is providing to the widows and children in Nigeria. Poverty is the biggest killer in Africa.  We realize that we will not be able to help them all, but through “I Am”, we’d like to help as many as we can.  It is with your help, donations and prayers that we will do just that. Please know that every donation you give “I Am” World Mission will be helping real people, children, widows, young adults and families that we’ve met while visiting Nigeria.  “And the King will reply to them, ‘Truly I tell you, in so far as you did it for one of the least of these My brethren, you did it for Me’.” (Matt. 25:40)

“I Am” World Outreach thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.
